Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert, b 1980 France, has been working on large scale glass blowing for over a decade and Vessel is proud to present his first solo show in the UK. He creates incredibly large and complex filigree pieces ‘Spirit Fruits’ that require the highest degree of skill to make, yet they are spontaneous, free and explosive at the same time. His work often echoes the feeling of billowing textiles on the brink of collapse and the pieces combine both power and frailty. On show will also be his monumental light installation ‘Clouds’ and a selection of new works titled ‘Void’ never shown in the UK before. Please contact us for full list of works, images and prices.
