| Re-Cyclos Magical by Bodo Sperlein |
Well acquainted with the workings of porcelain, Sperlein decided to focus on his interest in
nature using delicate elements of Lladró to create new and surprising jewelry, accessories,
and lighting.
For Lladró Re-Cyclos Magical, Sperlein launches a spectacular chandelier with hundreds
of white porcelain butterflies hanging from optical fiber cables. This collection has grown
with the incorporation of the Magic Forest light sculpture inspired by a storm of leaves.
Delicate porcelain leaves are suspended on fluid fibre optic strands illuminating and
enhancing the detailed hand crafted foliage.
With his new collection, Equus, Sperlein uses the legs, heads and hoofs of Lladró horses
to create witty tabletop accessories. Coffee cups and saucers, a teapot, a bowl or a butter
dish and knife comprise this original series of accessories for decorating tables inspired by
the beauty and elegance of horse's physique and paying homage to Lladro's fluid
porcelain sculptures. |
