Bengt Hokanson and Trefny Dix are partners in life and work. They met in New Orleans in 1994 and have now set up their studio in East Hampton, NY. Their sources of inspiration greatly vary from the paintings of Howard Hodgkin and Mark Rothko to African textiles and the immediacy of graffiti.

Their creations fuse Swedish and Italian techniques to create exciting, bold art works, each containing abstract forms, their distinctive vibrant palette range, with every piece exquisitely composed.
