Mylene Elliot is a conceptual French glass artist residing in the UK. The Ice Flowers chandelier collection incorporates hundreds of small hand sculpted crystal flowers which cascade randomly from a studded stainless steel canopy making it a visual feast for the eye.

In her own words: ‘I work with hot glass in its fluid state. My unorthodox approach in the hot shop has allowed me to start manipulating it intuitively, responding quickly to the ever changing liquid state of the molten glass. Hot glass doesn’t need polishing and I have kept a direct intuitive and natural roughness in my approach to manipulating the glass’.
