A unique cast glass artwork by Georgia Redpath.
Redpath started her working life as a tax specialist in London but in 2007 decided to pursue glass and created the Redpath Glass Studio. After a summer course in stained glass with Ruth Adams at the City Lit, her love of making was reawakened. After another short course at Central St Martins, Redpath decided to take the plunge and go back to her hometown of Lincoln and take an Art Foundation Course.
Five years, a Craft degree and a specialist course at Dudley's International Glass Centre later, she opened her studio at the Ruskin Glass Centre, Stourbridge. Glass making has been practiced in and around Stourbridge for more than 400 years and the area still benefits from specialists who simply can't be found elsewhere in the UK.
Redpath Glass aims to continue the traditions of quality and skill for which the area is famed while offering a fresh take on the use of glass in architecture and interiors.
