Crafting a Difference @ SoShiro Full Catalogue
This exciting physical show, curated by Brian Kennedy, is comprised of five prestigious galleries showcasing over 200 works by 70 artists and has been orchestrated to coincide with the virtual fairs; The London Art Fair and Collect 2021.
Set within the domestic setting of a London residence, this beautiful space offers a mix of gallery-style rooms but also works placed within a home environment. Curated with astonishing care and attention to detail, the viewer is invited to see works that compliment, interact and combine to form a rich visual feast as they travel from room to room, floor to floor.
Tackling head-on the continuing and changing pandemic restrictions, the exhibition is not only available to view online but has been filmed for viewing, offering a virtual interactive tour and where allowed, will (hopefully) open its doors for 'exclusive by appointment’ visits before it ends on the 2nd April.

About Crafting a Difference
2020 has been a disruptive year for the Art, Craft and Design worlds. Fairs are being cancelled, exhibitions postponed, and more and more things have been moved online. This is not the ideal way to view objects. As five commercial galleries involved in the contemporary craft sector, we have become increasingly concerned about the effect this is having on the industry and the ability for great work to be seen. We have come together with curator Brian Kennedy to develop projects to increase the visibility of the ‘contemporary object’ within today’s changing landscape and ultimately support our makers in these unprecedented times. "Together we can make things happen"
