Featured in issue No 305 of the September/October 2020 Ceramic Review magazine, photographer Layton Thompson met with Vessel Gallery's ceramic artist Jo Taylor to shoot her masterclass feature. Filmed during the Covid 19 pandemic, her creative process was captured outside in the artist's back garden, to ensure safety following the social distancing requirements at the time. Also the magazine's cover star for that edition, additional footage was captured at the gallery. Generous, engaging and highly informative, Jo shares many of her making techniques that are required to create each of her sublime Vari Capitelli Art Works.
