Frosted Dribble Bowl
Inspiration for West comes from calligraphy, symbology and ancient architecture from the middle and Far East. His initial and continued intention, was to move away from the ‘bubbliness’ which glass blowing naturally creates and to work with the natural qualities of the glass, manipulating the solid material with a drawn like quality.
Most of West’s work is experimental, resulting in unique pieces. With a preference to be more progressive, ideas are tried and refined but never produced in large quantities.
