'Daam Dah 7-1' is a unique black cast glass lidded box with 23.5 carat gold leaf, by the South Korean artist, Choi Keeryong.
When casting glass, tiny bubbles become trapped within the glass. With this piece, the artist has treated all the surface bubbles that are exposed, filling each one with gold leaf. A labour intensive task that results in an exquisite final artwork.
