In the artist's own words;

"A lot of work in glass breaks, a lot doesn’t succeed. We save the remains for a new beginning. Many pieces are complex: overlayed in two or three colours, cut in differing patterns, heavy, light, opaque, translucent. Here they come back to life, a cacophony of jumbled heritage, tracing memories of a lifetime’s work, joined together to celebrate the archaeology of amphorae."
