'Turf' is a unique glass sculpture by the British artist, Elliot Walker. It has been created as part of his ongoing still life series of artworks.

Created and unveiled during Collect 2020, 'Turf' alongside its counterpart 'Surf', was one of the biggest still life artworks made by Elliot Walker. The artwork combines hand sculpted glass, concrete and PVC.

Combining exceptional glass making skills with a novelist’s ability for storytelling, Walker literally sculpts his glass, creating artworks that are the essence of curiosity. His still life compositions contain symbols of the domestic; fruits, flowers and delicacies. Yet, unlike their transient counterparts, these will never decay and are held permanently in this fleeting moment.
